My Sophomore year of college was an absolute dumpster fire. It was also wonderful & life changing. It was, by far, the most challenging academic year of my life. When I started school in September, I would have never imagined the people that I'd meet and the things that would happen. I would have never predicted the awfulness, the goodness, and the everything in between. There are lots of things that happened that I can't say. There are things that happened that you might already know. But so much has taken place that instead of writing you some cheesy reflection, I'm going to give you everything the best way I know how: music.
Every school year, I build a playlist. The music is always in order of events as they happen and always correlating to someone or something. I keep it running from the very first day to the very last and at the end of the semester, I get to listen to everything that's taken place. It's always really cool completed project when it's done because I feel like I'm listening to myself grow & change. This year especially, it's quite the epic masterpiece. Normally, I don't share it with anyone. But this year, I've decided to do so. This is honest and intimate. A literal soundtrack to my life. If you do end up actually listening to it, let me know! I'm interested to see how other people react to this idea.
Before you listen: It's long. You don't have to listen to all of it. A lot has happened. Yes, it's in chronological order. If you know me well, you should be able to guess what's going on. Months are always separated by classical music or a song that says the month. Some music is just included because it literally says the event. Ex: "It's Back" "September" "What Comes Next?" "Marrow"
Welcome to my entire Sophomore Year of College:
